Nephrology is a kind of the medical science which deals with the diseases related to the kidneys. The doctor who has immense experience in dealing with kidneys are known as a nephrologist. Despite being a fact that every human being has two kidneys and one is entirely sufficient to survive as measure rental tissues are available in just one kidney. But according to Dr. B.K. Upadhyay, both of kidneys of a human being is necessary. The main function of the kidney is to filter as well as discharge the waste materials from blood present in the body. The other role is to keep up the blood pressure level in complete control by managing the water and salt in the body. The waste that gets separated by the kidney will discharge as urine from the urethra. But when it fails to get function, the patient needs kidney transplant or dialysis.
